This penny pinching post is about Dave Rock and how he may be Canada's cheapest man. Dave lives in London Ontario, Canada and is a self-proclaimed redneck and penny pinching extraordinaire.



He earns a descent living by garbage picking and then repairing major appliances, electronics and automobiles. Dave uses creativity and self taught skills to save money.



Dave bought a 1990 minivan for $100 and modified the engine to save money on gas. The minivan gets 57 miles per gallon. He rents out his property to pay off his bills and the mortgage on his farm. He has acquired most of his possessions for free.
